Bugs
ContactsLaw includes a sophisticated error/crash reporting tool that collects information and sends it to Overtech, along with details entered by the users who encounter the issue. This mechanism is useful for catching most unintended behaviour in the system, however there are still occasions when ContactsLaw may exhibit incorrect or incomplete behaviour.
In such situations where the system fails to perform an expected action, or performs it incorrectly, users should send a bug report by e-mail to
bugs@overtech.com.au. Users should NOT send general or technical support enquiries to this address - it is for faults only. Please remember to include the name of the program (i.e. ContactsLaw) and the version which exhibits the problematic behaviour (you can check this by opening the About option on the Help menu).
Feature/change requests
We are always looking for ways to improve ContactsLaw. If you come across a situation where the system only meets you halfway on a particular business process, or completely lacks a feature which you think has merit for inclusion in the software, please do not hesitate to send us a feature request to
features@overtech.com.au. Should you find an aspect of ContactsLaw's behaviour that contradicts current industry practices or has become obsolete, please send a change request to the aforementioned e-mail address. Users should NOT send general or technical support enquiries to this address - it is for the suggestion of new features only.
Lack of familiarity with the system can sometimes result in users submitting requests for features that already exist, or reporting bugs that do not represent faulty behaviour. Customers are responsible for meeting their initial and on-going training requirements. Contact your nominated training representative for all issues relating to training and education.
ContactsLaw technical support
Overtech takes an active role in supporting our products wherever they are deployed. Should you encounter problems with installing, upgrading or running ContactsLaw on computers on-site, you can contact us by e-mailing
support@overtech.com.au. Use this address for problems with your ContactsLaw application server (where applicable) and for problems with the data stored in ContactsLaw, should it become corrupted or inaccessible.
General support enquiries
Overtech does NOT typically provide general IT (hardware/software) support. If you have an issue occurring outside ContactsLaw, please contact your nominated support provider instead.
